The rules that keep FaceBall clean and credible
FaceBall is where an athlete steps up, shows what they can do and gets discovered by agents and clubs. For that to work, profiles and numbers have to be genuine and the atmosphere has to stay respectful. These guidelines apply to everyone — athletes, parents, agents, clubs, sponsors — and complement our Terms (/termini) and Privacy Policy (/privacy). Signing up and using FaceBall is the simplest way to accept them.
Parents manage profiles for minors
For every athlete under 18, a parent or legal guardian creates the account with their own email and manages the sports profile. One family account can manage multiple children's profiles. After email confirmation, the sports profile may be visible and the parent may publish photos, videos, and posts for the athlete.
Messages from agents and clubs require a second guardian confirmation and stay in the app. A parent can withdraw contact permission separately, hide the profile or close the account.
Always state your real age. Profiles that declare false personal details are suspended.
Play with respect, on and off the pitch
FaceBall is a professional community. Treat others the way you'd want to be treated in the locker room.
- No insults, harassment, threats, discrimination or hate speech.
- No spam, fake identities or profiles built to deceive.
- No violent, sexual or illegal content.
- Messages with athletes, agents and clubs stay professional and relevant.
Break these rules and you'll get a warning or, in serious cases, immediate removal of the account. This goes for everyone, no exceptions for role or fame.
Upload only your own, real footage
The videos you post must be original: highlights, skills, training, matches where you're the one in action. Upload material you hold the rights to, with the consent of anyone who appears in it.
- No clips from TV broadcasts or copyrighted content.
- No misleading clips, edits that distort reality, or performances that aren't yours.
- Yes to content that truly shows what you can do on the field.
The AI Agent helps you cut your reels and sharpen your text from your own material, but the substance stays yours. We remove content that infringes others' rights or misleads viewers.
Report your numbers honestly. The badge shows how reliable they are
On FaceBall every stat carries a reliability badge with three levels: self-declared by the athlete, verified by the club, verified by the federation. It's a system that rewards transparency, not inflated numbers.
Report appearances, goals, assists and performances truthfully: false entries hurt you and drain credibility from the whole community. Clearly inflated or made-up data is corrected or removed and can lead to suspension of the profile.
Every ball sport, on equal footing
FaceBall's first release covers 11-a-side football, 8-a-side football and futsal, for women's and men's teams. Post content relevant to your discipline and level, from amateurs to pros. More sports may be added later.
Your data, explained clearly
FaceBall shows sports details and content from a visible profile, including a minor's profile after parent or guardian confirmation. Login emails, full dates of birth, and guardian contacts stay private.
- You may request access, correction, portability, and deletion of your data.
- You can delete your account in the app or contact us to limit profile visibility.
- We also use a US provider for service emails, with safeguards explained in the notice.
For the full details, read the Privacy Notice (/privacy).
See something off? Report it
If you come across a fake profile, non-original content, inflated stats or unfair behavior, let us know. We review every report and act with warnings, content removal or account suspension. The more serious the community, the more it's worth being part of it.
Quick answers
What age can I use FaceBall on my own?
Athletes under 18 do not manage an account on their own. A parent or legal guardian creates and manages it and may publish after email confirmation.
My child is under 14 — can I open a profile for them?
Yes. You can create and manage the profile as a parent. It stays hidden until email confirmation; then you can publish content and withdraw confirmation or close the account whenever you wish.
What videos can I upload?
Only original videos where you're the one in action: highlights, skills, training, matches. No TV clips or copyrighted content, and no edits that distort reality.
What do the badges on the stats mean?
They show how reliable a figure is: self-declared by the athlete, verified by the club, or verified by the federation. They help anyone searching understand at a glance what they're reading.
Is FaceBall only for football?
For the first release, yes: 11-a-side football, 8-a-side football and futsal, for women's and men's teams, from amateurs to pros. More sports will follow.
Where does my data end up?
A visible sports profile shows published details and content; login emails and guardian contacts stay private. We also use a US provider for service emails. You may request access, portability and deletion of your data: see the Privacy Notice for details.
How do I contact an athlete or an agent?
Contact always happens inside the app, on record and securely. There are no private exchanges off the platform.
What happens if someone breaks the rules?
Depending on the severity, it's a warning, content removal or account suspension. You can report fake profiles, non-original content or unfair behavior to us: we review every report.
